Rumors about The Huawei Honor 5A and 5A Plus
Huawei has recently taken an aggressive approach to competing with its competitors with the likes of the Huawei Mate 8 and the recently launched Huawei p9 – two of its high-end phones. It is also launching smartphones in the mid-range category; it had recently launched the Honor 5x and now rumor has it will soon be launching two more smartphones – the Honor 5A and 5A plus. The last we know is that both smartphone variants of the Honor series have passed TENAA – a telecommunication equipment certification center in China. So if that is the case it will most probably be launched in China in the coming weeks or months after which it will be shipped out globally.
Here is what we know so far about the Honor 5A and 5A plus.
Huawei Honor 5A
The Honor 5A will be a smaller version of the 5A plus. The 5A is expected to have a 5-inch IPS HD screen along with a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor. It will have 2GB’s of RAM and a 16GB internal storage that will be expandable via an external Micro SD Card. As far as the camera is concerned it is heard that it will have a 13-megapixel primary camera. The battery of the 5A is supposedly 2200mAh.
Huawei Honor 5A Plus
The Honor 5A Plus is a phablet rumored to have a 5.5-inch IPS screen with a 720p HD display. This smartphone will supposedly have an octa-core 1.8GHz processor along with 2GB’s of RAM. The built-in storage will be 16GB with the option to increase it through a micro SD card slot. The primary camera like the 5A will be 13 MP and the secondary camera is expected to be 8 MP and the battery capacity given its larger size will be around 3000 mAh.
We can’t be certain about the specs till Huawei gives out more information and also the release date is still not known. Given the tough competition in the mid-range phones, we are anxious to see what the price tag will be on these smartphones.
