News: Officially announced LG Class, All Metal yet Affordable
LG Class, announced today a first Midranger made from Metal Alloy, Android smartphone. When first the news surfaced about the new device from LG in teaser posted, it seemed like a Phablet. Today’s unveiling in South Korea did little to confirm that.
“According to LG, the Class has a “slim metal” construction, being a “premium” phone for users on a budget. The 5-inch screen of the new handset offers a 720 x 1280 pixels resolution, and is covered by glass that’s slightly curved at the edges.
Running Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, the LG Class is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, and features: LTE connectivity, NFC, Bluetooth 4.1, a 1W speaker, 2 GB of RAM, and 16 GB of expandable storage space. There’s a 13 MP camera on the back, while on the front the new smartphone has the same 8 MP selfie camera that can be found on the LG”
It seems LG wants to compete against the fierce competition posted by Chinese Smart Phone Manufacturers. Its specs seems not up to par, compared with OPPO, One Plus One, Asus and others. As there’re platheora of options are sprouting, what remains to be seen is how the smartphone users feel. Tell us, how you feel about these mid-rangers, do they seem to hit many of the marks for you? Or do they hit few and fail to hit many of the features you desire.
