The Jiayu G2 can play up to 720p videos without any lag or jittering, when we tried 1080p videos it gave an error of video not supported, we played this on the Jiayu G2’s native player, although there might be a workaround you can download MX player and try to play the 1080p video’s in software mode but the problem that you might encounter is considerable video lag, as the Gfive G95 Bravo has the same GPU but it got significant lag while running on s/w mode on MX player.
The Sound volume is great, it is loud and very audible, which is a good thing.
The jiayu G2 has an 8mp autofocus back camera along with supporting flash, and 0.3mp front camera. It has all the main functions of an Android Phone Camera, such as HDR, scene selection, exposure settings, sharpness, ISO, Panorama Mode, Multi-Angle Mode. In the video mode the basic functions such as time lapse, effects, color effects, and flash mode.
A separate review of the camera will be uploaded later on.

The Jiayu G2’s browser ran quite well, zoom is smooth it might get blurred for a second during the zoom, you can watch videos from dailymotion and vimeo and sites that support HTML 5. Overall its browsing is quite good.
The Jiayu G2 overall is a very budget friendly phone, and a better alternative to the dual core phones currently available in the market, mainly because of its IPS display tech and 1Gb Ram. Most of the market phones are not offering the IPS display tech and we haven’t heard of a local dual core phone offering 1Gb Ram with an IPS display especially at a price less than Rs.15,000.
