Jelly Bean 4.2 Vs 4.1
“Same Jelly Bean different flavors”
Android has enhanced the taste of jelly bean and yes it is delicious…..
The Android Jelly Bean 4.2 as compared to 4.1 has added new features to compliment the camera functions on the device its installed on and it has enhanced its predictive typing function in-fact upgraded it to a new level….they call it gesture typing. You just swipe over the letters that make up a word and the advanced predictive typing system completes the word on its own…. pretty neat right? And that’s not all they have also improved upon speech to text recognition and it no longer requires for you to be connected online it can handle voice input pretty much on its own.
Multiple Users (Tab Only)
There is good news for tablet users, tablets running on the jellybean 4.2, can setup multiple users; its kind a like when you set up multiple users in windows. Each individual using the tablet can customize the tab according to their liking. They can have their own home-screen, wallpaper, apps, widgets and games, plus you don’t have to log in or out its easy to switch between users. The best part is you won’t have any fights with your siblings or spouse over why they changed the background of your tab….. 🙂
Big Screen Mirroring
You have something really important to share with everyone in the room….sure you could do it via the social networking sites and have everyone look at it individually but it’s more fun when everyone can see it all at the same-time, this functionality is the ability to display what’s on your phone on the big screen all that is required is a wireless display adaptor attached to any HDMI enabled TV and presto you can show off to your heart’s content.
Android’s version of the screensaver
Android Jellybean 4.2 has installed a new feature called Daydream it can be compared to window’s version of a screen-saver, so whenever your device is docked, idle, or on charging it goes into daydreaming mode, you can customize so that its shows your pictures, or even news feeds.
The slightest touch
They have vastly improved upon project butter which was introduced in Jellybean 4.1, the touch sensitivity, response and overall feel has been greatly improved.
We saved the best part for last the function which we found extremely awesome was the photosphere functionality it has allowed for the camera, it really adds meaning to the term panoramic shot, it allows you to take a 360 degree panoramic shot of your surroundings if you want to see some pics please visit. http://maps.google.com/help/maps/streetview/contribute/#all
