Huawei ranks 47 in Global Brands Top 500 2016 and 11 in Top Global Tech Brands 2016
Huawei, one of the leading smartphone manufacturers and one of the top technology brands from China has made a mark for itself once again. Huawei was ranked 47 on the recently released ‘Top 500 most valuable brands 2016’ by Brand Finance, a prominent UK-based firm and ranked 11 in the ‘Brand Finance Tech 100 – Top 100 most valuable tech brands 2016’
Huawei has consistently been ranked in the top technology companies worldwide and each year continues to improve its rankings – in 2014 and 2015 it was recognized as one of the leading brands under the ‘Global Best Brands’ by Interbrand. This continued success according to Huawei is due to their unrelenting efforts to provide superior customer service and continually spend on Reseach and Development, and rigorous quality standards which are meticulously checked by Huawei’s QA department to provide top quality products to its customers.
Brand Finance while making creating their list of the ‘Global Top 100 most Valuable Brands’ kept three essential factors in mind – Marketing Investments, Brand Strength Index (BSI), and Brand Loyalty. The list then resulted in the mentioning of all global corporation that had the highest scores in the said sectors – Huawei being one of them and being ranked in the top 50.
Huawei’s progress has been commendable; currently, its products are marketed and sold in over 170 countries – it offers both hardware tech products and other solutions. In 2015, Huawei was the only brand to achieve a mega 44% growth rate; it shipped over 100 million smartphones across the world solidifying its standing as the world’s 3rd largest technology manufacturer. While Apple and Samsung have admitted that they are facing a tough market for their products, Huawei is setting its eyes on the number 1 technology manufacturer.
