Apple Releases New iOS 9.2: Much Improved With Many Bug Fixes
We have gone through many beta versions which have been made available to the developers and many users as well in the past few weeks. Many changes have been seen in different beta versions but after a great struggle of about six weeks after iOS 9.1 arrival, the final improved version of iOS 9.2 has been released too which is the second major update to the iOS 9 operating system. This version is actually the fourth update to iOS 9 in total, considering the launches of iOS 9.0.1, iOS 9.0.2 and iOS 9.1 which is available as an OTA (over the air) update to all iOS 9 users supportting iPhones, iPads, and iPods in a size of about 300MB (size may change depending on the device).
Well, iOS 9.2 has a very long list of improvements and bug fixes, so users should not be getting late to download it. There are about thirty improvements which have been mentioned in the software update log in the apps including Apple Music, News, Mail, Podcasts, iBook and Safari. Moreover, Siri now has the support for Arabic language in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
Lets talk about some of the remarkable changes that have been made to the latest iOS9.2. Apple music app now allows you to create a new playlist adding the song you selected when you hit the option to add it to a playlist. It also shows your most recently changed playlist at the top when you are adding song as well as works, composers, and performers when browsing classical music in the catalog. You have the option to download albums or playlists from your iCloud music library by hitting the iCloud download button and can also check which songs have been downloaded through a new indicator. The News aap has a new ‘Top Stories’ section in the list of countries such as US, UK, and Australia, which updates you with the most important events of the day. You also get the feature to use Mail Drop in Mail to send large size attachments. iBooks application can now support 3D Touch to peek at and pop up pages from the different selection including table of contents, your notes, your bookmarks, or from the search results inside a book. Moreover, you can also listen to an audiobook while you’re surfing your library, reading other books, or just discovering the iBooks Store.
iOS 9.2 also has the support for the Apple USB Camera Adapter and accessories which are used to import photos from a digital camera. This feature was found only in iPads previously but is also supported on the iPhone 5 and later with the exception of the iPhone 4S and iPod touch.
